Carl,
Looks like everyone has upped their game, a lot! So Dick is a landing machine. Remind me when he comes up here and if I'm the CD I'll make landings max of 2 points! ;) Ha ha

I hope to be at your May contest, wife's schedule permitting as I'll miss our May contest here in Helena.

Thanks for sending the scores.
Curtis

We had a great day of flying ALES yesterday, with spring flying conditions, final scores attached. All pilots had fun flying, and Scott had the field in terrific shape. Thank you Scott!

There was not a lot of lift all day, which made making task times challenging. For the first 3 rounds the air was dead still. Then the wind gradually built over the last 3 rounds. There were birds flying during round 5, south across the river, and doing pretty well.

Dick Jones was the landing machine, hitting 5 fifty pointers and one 45! Bob is really getting the hang of his Explorer and put up some impressive scores. Jim would have easily won the event if it had not been for radio issues with his Kappa.

Thanks to all the pilots for coming out to fly. Next contest at Columbus is scheduled for May 13. Please plan to join us.

Carl
