[MT-ALES] Soaring Contest Saturday

The soaring contest scheduled for Scott Edwards’ field this Saturday is still on at this time.  I have been in touch with Scott and their place is fine so far.  He anticipates no issues.  I will visit with Scott again later in the week.

The current forecast on Windy looks pretty darned good, see attached.  We’ll want to start on time, since it probably will be fairly warm by the end of the contest.



I’m planning for a 9:30 pilots meeting/first round, assuming folks will attend from Helena.  Please advise guys.  Bob and I have done some work on the scoring computer and my laptop too, so there should not be scoring issues this time. Fingers crossed!

Will keep an eye on developments as the week progresses and post a final call here on Friday.  Hope everyone can make it!
