[MT-ALES] April glider event rescheduled!!!

I hope all of you glider guiders are having a good spring.  I know that personally, I’m getting a little itchy!

As you might recall, we have a soaring event scheduled at Scott Edwards’ field this coming Saturday, April 8th.

Our glider fields are insured through the AMA as supplemental fields under the Billings Flying Mustangs (BFM) chartered club.  Due to a little SNAFU with the BFM secretary changing this year, our payment to insure the Edwards and Tvetene fields was very late getting sent to AMA.  Therefore our coverage has temporarily lapsed until the new certificates have been received.  BFM club president Randy Broderick has been very helpful working with AMA to have this oversight corrected ASAP.

Please do not fly at either field until insurance is back in place.  Doing so would violate our agreements with both landowners.  I will let everyone know when we are good to go!

Although we expect to receive the certificates soon, it likely will not be this week.  Therefore I suggest we reschedule our event for the following Saturday, April 15.
