[MT-ALES] OLDFARTSS June contest this Saturday, 6/22

We are planning an F5J contest for Saturday, June 22, at Edwards Field home of the OLDFARTSS.  Details follow:

This will be regulation F5J using F3X Vault scoring and automated timing.  I will prepare the contest on the Vault today.  It will be named "OLD May 2024 F5J”.  I will send an email when contest is available for sign up.  You must register not later than 12:00 PM on Friday, June 21, so the matrix and sound files can be prepared.
Breakfast at 7:00 at the Bearstone Cafe in Columbus for those interested.
Pilots meeting at 9:30, with round 1 to follow shortly thereafter.
Six rounds will be flown, with extended task time for round 6.  There will be a drop following completion of a minimum number of rounds.
Current weather forecast does not look encouraging, but it has been changing every day this week.  Doug has been monitoring conditions on Windy Pro app for us.  I will make a go/no go call NLT 12:00 PM on Friday, and announce by email.



Looks like a good turnout is possible with pilot schedules.  Hoping the weather cooperates!
