All new Spectrum receivers come with telemetry standard (whatever happened to options?). So, I will install the vario since the weight penalty has already been paid for the larger RX. The software allows you to put it on switch, so the vario telemetry can be toggled on or off. Currently I have no plans to muck up a nice clean ship with a skeg. <div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Regarding contest rules for our local events, I feel it would be beneficial to determine a format for use this year and stick to it, in terms of hardware, field boundaries and landing normalization. Sounds like some folks are using rangefinders as an easy way to check distance of questionable landings. Maybe this could work for us. Landing format and task times could remain the CD’s call.
