The conditions changed through the day, beginning with very light air for round 1. Rounds 2 through 4 had huge sink cycles, but there were also some huge powerful thermals, and several pilots specked way out. For rounds 5 and 6 the wind died, making it possible to get an accurate read on the numerous light thermals coming through. It was necessary to work several thermals to make time during these rounds, but the thermals were there. A good day of flying!<div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I’ll attach the scoresheet for inquiring minds. Also attached, a nice pic by Andre Czeczel of Jon doing his thing. Thanks for the pics Andre! Thanks to our host, Scott Edwards, for continued use of the farm. The grass on the field just keeps getting better Scott!</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Finally a special shout out and thanks to Joe and Jon for making the drive from Helena to join us for the inaugural event of the year in Columbus. Also, Wayne hitched a ride with Joe and came out to watch the flying. Great to see you Wayne. You’re looking good!</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Carl</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""></div></body></html>
