<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body style="overflow-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;">Hey everyone!<div><br></div><div>The flying season is winding down, with just 2 more events scheduled for the Billings area. These are scheduled for this coming Saturday, September 9 and then again on October 14. Both to be held at Edwards Farm.</div><div><br></div><div>I’d like to have a head count for the September event ASAP. This may influence what we will do. </div><div><br></div><div>Current pilots are:</div><div><br></div><div><ul class="MailOutline"><li>Bob Blumer</li><li>Dick Blumer</li><li>Doug Pressman</li><li>Jon Garber</li><li>Carl Thuesen</li></ul></div><div><br></div><div>If Curtis can come and bring his sound system we could fly a regulation F5J contest. Essentially this works the same as our ALES5J format, except that you need to be on the ground before the working window end buzzer. </div><div><br></div><div>If Curtis is not available we could fly ALES5J, or regular ALES.</div><div><br></div><div>Or we could do something fun like the modified ALES they fly at Visalia. Limiters set at 100 M with task times of 6 to 8 minutes, everything else ALES rules.</div><div><br></div><div>Other ideas on format welcome.</div><div><br></div><div>Please advise on attendance by Wednesday. Thank you!</div><div><br><div>
