The sloping? It was awesome! Great to see all the friends from previous years again too.</div><div><br></div><div>The September event will be at Edwards’ field on September 14. We will be doing another California ALES, with 100 meter launch limit contest! <span style="caret-color: rgb(0, 0, 0); color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">This is a really fun format. </span>Like when we did it last fall, the rules will be ALES, except limiters will be set to 100 meters. Varied task times will be flown, as decided that day based on anticipated conditions. </div><div><br></div><div>ALES type limiters with 30 second max motor run set to 100 meters height will be required. I may have an extra one or two available if someone needs to borrow one for the day. Let me know!</div><div><br></div><div>Pilots’ meeting at 9:30, with flying to follow shortly thereafter. More specifics to follow next week.</div><div><br></div><div>Bob, Doug and Dick have been launching to 100 M all summer in our F5J meets. We all better get our game faces on! </div><div><br><div>
