I have been on board while giving gas and receiving gas and in all cases I was stuck at a crew station in the back unable to see out! Bummer.

Hard to imagine the tension, all the what-if’s that could screw up all that intricate planning! These guys were so good!
Must have been fun in some respects.
I’ve been fortunate to have ridden in the fueling bubble of a KC-135 fueling F16's over the Mojave Desert. Pretty exciting!
